If you’re looking for a local, traditional, delicious Bavarian eat and drink experience, you’ve found it. Do your self a favour and visit this wonderful establishment. If you’d like to sit on the patio, get their early. Don’t be surprised if another group is seated with you. It’s meant to be this way. Enjoy the company! Indoor seating is a vibe as well. If you’re not sure what to get, the staff are friendly and will walk you through the menu. For food, go with the ox roast, veal schnitzel, & deer burger. For drink, we went with house wine and sample local wheat beers. Enjoy!
One of our favorite restaurants in Munich. Off the beaten path but worth the stop. Friendly staff and very helpful to recommend dishes. The lamb meatballs was our favorite dish but you can’t go wrong with the pork schnitzel. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend but be sure to bring cash here.
Nice place with traditional Bavarian food ????⬜. The waiter sat us together with nice stringers and it seems like it the we its work over there. We got the menu (no English menu and the nice people that sit with us said they are German and doesn't understand anything from it. We took 2 shnizal ( a huge dish that is fixed for 2 people) . If you are taking one dish for two people you have to pay extra 5 e.. The dishes arrived with salad and a side to choose from. The waiters are very nice , the prices are highly expensive. 35 per dish .
TOP!!! We came twice and we enjoyed every single meal. It is an authentic WIRTSHAUS! If you are looking for real Bavarian -not standard- food, this is where you have to be! Choose a time after 19h, is much easier to get a table. But…. Waiting is all worth it. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. König and the whole team! *************** Es braucht nicht mehr als drei Buchstaben TOP! Nudelsuppe mit Ochsenfleisch! Love it
OK let me tell you one thing straight away: It doesn't get any more Bavarian than this. Wirtshaus Kreuzeder is what true German hospitality looks and tastes like. A menu that has a relatively small selection but in return everything is made fresh and with love. Likeable and authentic staff. Large portions. Fair prices. Kreuzeder has got it all. I wholeheartedly recommend even a slightly longer trip from Munich or beyond to visit this hidden gem in Erding!
Everything was good, food, atmosphere and service. The only bad thing to say about the establishment is it is a cash only. We do not speak german and we did not knew it when we got in set fown to eat. So st 10 pm i had to look and run through out Eriding for ATM.....
I would give 7 stars if possible. The two additional stars would be for the high quality of the mostly home made food and for the warmth of the English speaking staff and cook. Wirtshaus Kreuzeder is definitely worth a trip even if you don't visit the Therme Erding. The portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. The friendly English speaking staff goes out of their way to translate the Bavarian menu, check on the guests, and make sure every guest is enjoying themself. Very friendly towards children. The food is out of this world! Highly recommended! The cook is taking the traditional Bavarian "Wirtshaus" to the level of an upscale French country inn in Alsace. Easy parking on the side of the house. No credit cards.
Loved this place vibe!Authentic traditional food, friendly atmosphere, super size portions :) Menu is ONLY in Bavarian (no German or English) but the owner ensured us we could take our time to ordering with loose translations! We will come again for dessert as after the main course we had no room left. Dank sho
